5 Time-Saving Cleaning Hacks Every Busy Mom Needs to Know

Hey there, busy moms! I know firsthand the challenges of keeping a home clean and organized while juggling a million other things. Coming from a family of seven kids, I've learned a thing or two about efficient cleaning. Despite being not-a-mom, I've researched and gathered some time-saving cleaning hacks that will help you maintain a clean and organized home without adding more stress to your life.

1. Create a Cleaning Schedule: Break down your cleaning tasks into manageable chunks and assign specific tasks to each day or week. This will help you stay organized and ensure that nothing gets overlooked. Here's a good idea for your inspiration:

Monday: Clean bathrooms

Tuesday: Dust and vacuum

Wednesday: Clean kitchen

Thursday: Laundry

Friday: Declutter common areas

2. Get the Whole Family Involved: Cleaning shouldn't just be your responsibility. Get your kids and partner involved in household chores. Assign age-appropriate tasks to your children and make cleaning a fun and interactive activity for the whole family. Here are some tasks that I remember doing as a kid to give you some ideas:

Picking up toys and putting them away

Cleaning dishes/loading dishwasher

Picking up the room before bedtime

3. Use Multipurpose Cleaning Products: Save time and money by using multipurpose cleaning products that can tackle multiple cleaning tasks. Look for products that can clean and disinfect surfaces, floors, and appliances to streamline your cleaning routine. I use Meyer's Clean Day Multi-Surface Concentrate! Put 4oz into a spray bottle and fill the rest with warm water, and voila! This concentrate alone has lasted me almost a year, I would HIGHLY recommend it. 4. Declutter Regularly: Take a few minutes each day to declutter and put things back in their place. Use storage solutions such as bins and baskets to keep clutter at bay. If you have kids, I would recommend using labeled bins or baskets and having them practice organizing things. Even make it a game! I used to love organizing things as a kid, so I'm a little biased, but I think some kids might enjoy this.
